the grounds looked immaculate. the staff were very professional and friendly. our afternoon tea was one of the best i have had , the attentive staff made it more special with the beautiful surroundings. this in turn made for a very relaxing afternoon.
i asked for a glass of freshly squeezed juice for breakfast , but i received an industrially produced glass of juice. i believe that guests know the difference between a freshly squeezed and packeted juice.

this destination became a memory to cherish. i appreciated the clear attention to detail. before leaving, kevin provided a tour, it gave history of the hall. seeing yorkshire heritage was exiting and produce at the forefront was a nice touch. supporting local business made me proud.
during the bar visit, the staff brought water but forgot my order. i had to find someone to take the order. small details like this should be addressed.

The location featured majestic manicured grounds. The team had perfect manners and remained friendly. Dining at 88 proved a lovely experience. The staff showed attentiveness during the evening and prepared a birthday dessert.
The persistently loud air handling unit outside my room disturbed sleep.

i loved the welcome from isaac near the iron gates. this was a magical beginning. the spa is super clean. it is also very relaxing with something for everyone. i enjoyed laying back outside in the autumn sun. i watched kites and buzzards soaring above me.
the plaster work around my window was not the best. it was a slight imperfection in an otherwise perfect room.

the afternoon tea was lovely. the coronation chicken sandwich was particularly delicious , so were the warm scones with jams and cream. the grounds were beautiful , i must say.
the juice i had for breakfast tasted like it came from a packet. i asked for freshly squeezed juice though. i was expecting a glass of freshly squeezed juice.
